How do I get him to notice me???

OK theres this guy that I've REALLY liked for about a year or two now! but he's a senior and this is his last year and.... I have nvr really talked to him but he seems really great! and im not the kind of grl that just goes up to someone and just starts talking to him. Im really shy!!!!! I hate being shy but thats just the way I am! WHAT DO I DO!???
