I need help interpreting this dream that i had?

My 30 year old brother was killed in a car accident, not his fault, 8 months ago. I Finlay had a dream about him. It was that he was crying and said he missed us and wants to come home. is this possible? Or am i misunderstanding the dream. I am real confused about the whole religion and heaven thing. Needless to say this dream really upset me. Any input would help. (i think)
