My dog can't be left alone or sleep at night (Serious problem)?

Labs are great dogs. Awesome for families and really great with kids. However Labs are also high energy which is why they tend to get into a lot of trouble when left to their own devices. What are you doing with the dog during the day? Do you have a lot of room (big backyard) that the dog can run around in? What you really want to do is wear the dog out during the day and see if that makes any difference. Also Labs are really sensitive too. They need to feel like a part of the family and if they don't get enough attention their feelings are hurt and they act out. Think of them kind of like a little kid acting out to get attention. Another idea to help you out would be to enroll in obedience school. Although Labs can be a lot of work they're worth it. They are naturally very intelligent and can be very easily trained. Once you've put in the work you will have a very loyal well behaved pet.
