Paid Vehicles taxes on something I don't own anymore.?

Last August I got rid of my ford focus for a thunderbird. Well my tags Are about to expire. So I paid the taxes online 2 weeks ago. Well I found out today it was on the car I got rid of. Will I be reimbursed for that car?
