What is New York like as a place to live?

firstly there is no place in the world like new york city. its like another human being it has its own personality. i recommend that you visit nyc for at least 10 days to see how you feel about it. for example, i have lived here all my life and travelled all around the world and whereever i go, i always find myself wanting to go back home. i love that there is everyone from around the world here, the hustle and bustle 24/7. the fact that a car doesnt control your life (who needs a car?) the mix of people you can find hanging out at the same spots. the street food, the restaurant food, the shopping. you can dress your whole body for $30 (daffy's department store) or you can dress your body for $3000 (barneys ny). you could never be bored here for sure. as far as working here, the sky is the limit, it depends on how far you want to go and how hard you are prepared to work.
