What makes the North so much better than the South? United States-wise anyway..?

I've never heard of such a thing... Ever hear of anyone retiring and moving north? NO.. Let's just leave things as they are. We don't want those damn yankees finding out how great it is in the South. Let them stay up there and keep believing themselves.
