What should i do? problem about step dad.?

my mum and dad have been divorced now for a year. i've accepted the fact that they can't live with each other, so i'm not acting like a spoilt brat... anyway, my mum's boyfriend moved in and he's acting like my dad... he keeps stating that he's the man of the house now, and he makes the rules. he doesn't even own the house? my mum does! anyways, some times he can be cool and nice. but the majority of the time he acts like a complete prick! he always tells me to wash the dishes, and tidy up. he makes me sound like a complete slob. i HATE mess, infact i always help my mum with the cooking and cleaning. also this one time, i was ironing my uniform for school and i burnt my trousers. so my mum never trusts me with ironing my school trousers... anyway one night i began ironing my uniform ready for school. and my mum calls over and says ''i'll be over in a minute, don't want you burning your trousers again!'' and then my mums boyfriend says ''pfft..'' and gave my mum a look. so in the end my mum just sat there and didn't do it. it's like he has some sort of control over her... i just don't get it. i'm fine with doing my own stuff, infact i do. i'm not one of those lazy *** teenagers who expects their mother to do everything for them. i like to be independent. but what i don't appreciate is my mums BOYFRIEND, who is nothing to do with me, telling me what to do. i got my father for that... what should i do? he's really driving me crazy...
